This package pairs two or three nights in Bangkok with the Andaman coast at Phuket or Krabi. You see the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, take a longtail boat through Phang Nga Bay, and island-hop to Phi Phi, with time left for markets and beaches.

- DAY 1
Arrive Bangkok, river at dusk
Land at Suvarnabhumi on the morning nonstop from Hyderabad and check in by early afternoon. Ease in with a Chao Phraya river cruise as the lights come on over Wat Arun, then dinner in Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown.
- DAY 2
Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun
Begin at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha when the gates open in the morning, walk to Wat Pho's Reclining Buddha, then cross the river by ferry to Wat Arun. Evening free for Khao San Road or a rooftop view.

Markets and a floating market option
Choose a morning at Damnoen Saduak floating market or the Maeklong railway market, or stay in town for Chatuchak Weekend Market and Jim Thompson House. Late afternoon flight to Phuket.
- DAY 4
Phang Nga Bay by longtail
A full day among the limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay from Ao Po pier: Khao Phing Kan, lunch at the Muslim fishing village of Koh Panyee, and sea-cave canoeing through the hongs. Return to Phuket for sunset at Promthep Cape.

Phi Phi island hopping
Speedboat to the Phi Phi islands: Maya Bay viewing, snorkelling at Pileh Lagoon and Bamboo Island, and a stop at Phi Phi Don. Evening in Phuket Old Town's Sino-Portuguese lanes, or transfer to Ao Nang in Krabi for the final night.

Railay and departure
From Krabi, a longtail boat to Railay's cliffs and Phra Nang Cave beach, or a quiet morning on Kata or Karon beach in Phuket. Transfer to the airport for the connection through Bangkok to Hyderabad.

At the time of writing, Indian passport holders enter Thailand visa-free for tourism for up to 30 days for arrivals from 15 September 2026 (arrivals before that date receive the earlier 60-day allowance), and every traveller must also submit the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online within 72 hours before arrival; our desk checks your passport validity, files the arrival card for each traveller and briefs you on what immigration may ask to see.
GOOD TO KNOW
Before you pack.
- Temples and the Grand Palace enforce a dress code: shoulders and knees covered for everyone, no sleeveless or see-through clothing; sarongs are available at the Grand Palace entrance if needed.
- Thailand runs on 220 V, 50 Hz with type A, B and C sockets, so Indian type D plugs need an adapter.
- Immigration may ask visa-exempt visitors to show sufficient funds for the stay, a confirmed hotel booking and evidence of onward travel; carry printouts or have them on your phone.
- Thailand is 1 h 30 min ahead of IST all year and does not observe daylight saving time.

Do Indian passport holders need a visa for Thailand?
At the time of writing, no. Indian tourists enter visa-free for up to 30 days for arrivals from 15 September 2026; anyone arriving before that date is admitted under the earlier 60-day allowance. Everyone must still submit the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online within 72 hours before landing, and our desk files it for each traveller in your booking.
When is the best time to go, and what about the monsoon?
November to February is the cool, dry season, with clear skies and calm Andaman seas, so island boat trips run reliably. March to May is very hot, and the south-west monsoon brings rain to Bangkok and the Andaman coast from roughly May to October, with the heaviest falls in September and October. If you must travel in the rains, we suggest shorter island days and more time in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
How many days do I need?
Six to eight nights works well: two or three in Bangkok and the rest on the coast at Phuket or Krabi. With ten nights you can add Chiang Mai in the north without rushing. Shorter four-night trips are possible but usually mean choosing either the city or the islands.
Can the itinerary be tailored for families or honeymooners?
Yes. Families tend to prefer Bangkok's floating markets, gentler beaches such as Kata, and a single island day, with connecting rooms and early-evening returns. Honeymooners usually ask for a private longtail in Phang Nga Bay, a sunset dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya and a quieter final night on Railay or in Krabi.
