Singapore, Malaysia, Bali, Europe, Switzerland, Japan
Singapore and Malaysia are warm and reliable, Bali is drying out, and Europe is at its best. Book Schengen appointments by February; Singapore and Malaysia can be confirmed within two weeks.
DASARA · OCTOBER
Dubai, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Thailand
Dubai's season is just starting, Vietnam's north is dry, Sri Lanka's hills are pleasant and Thailand's rains are ending. Short flights; the UAE and Vietnam need an e-visa and Sri Lanka's free ETA is filed online beforehand.

HOW WE PLAN A FAMILY TRIP
What changes when children and grandparents travel.
Every traveller has a file
Each child needs their own visa or arrival card, their own photo and, for Singapore, their own form signed by a parent. A child travelling with one parent needs a consent letter. We prepare one file per traveller and lodge them together so they are read together.
Pace over coverage
One base where possible, short transfers, connecting or family rooms, a hotel with a pool, and a plan with one anchor activity a day. Theme parks and aquariums are booked for the morning; afternoons are left open on purpose.
Insurance that covers everyone
Family policies that include the grandparents at the right age band, with medical cover that satisfies Schengen rules where they apply. We check the certificate before the appointment, not after.

Which family holidays from Hyderabad need no visa?
Thailand (visa-free for 30 days), Malaysia (visa-free to 31 December 2026), the Maldives (free visa on arrival) and Sri Lanka (free online authorisation) can be booked at short notice for the whole family; each traveller, including children, needs the online arrival card, which we file. Singapore and Dubai need a visa or e-visa that our desk handles in about five working days once the files are complete, and every child needs their own application.
When do Hyderabad families travel, and where is in season?
The Telangana and Andhra summer break from mid-April to early June suits Singapore, Malaysia, Bali and Europe, with Switzerland and Japan mild before the June rains. The Dasara break in October suits Dubai at the start of its season, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Thailand as the rains end. The Sankranti and Christmas weeks suit Dubai, Singapore, the Maldives and Thailand in their dry season.
How many nights work for a family with young children?
Four to five nights for Singapore, Dubai or the Maldives, with one base and short days. Six to eight nights for Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam or Sri Lanka with two bases at most. We keep transfers short, book connecting or family rooms, and plan the pace around naps and early dinners rather than around a checklist of sights.
Can grandparents come too?
Yes, and many of our family groups are three generations. We choose hotels with lifts and short walks, add rest days, book ground-floor or near-lift rooms, arrange wheelchair assistance at Hyderabad and the destination airport where needed, and make sure insurance for travellers over 60 or 70 is arranged from an insurer that covers that age properly.
