Documents you'll need.
Six documents make up every Singapore visa file. Gather these, and our desk takes it from there.
Every application to the Consulate-General of Singapore starts with the same core file — and most delays trace back to one weak page in it: a photo taken too long ago, a form signed in the wrong place, a covering letter that skips the travel dates.
That's the part we take off your hands. Bring the documents in this checklist and we review each one against the current requirements before anything is submitted — including completing Form 14A with you at the desk, so nothing is left to guesswork.
MANDATORY · ALL APPLICANTS
- Original passport with 6 months validity from the date of travel
- Duly filled and signed Form 14A
- 2 passport-size photographs, taken within the last 3 months
- Photocopy of the passport's first and last pages
- Covering letter stating the purpose of your visit, your companions and travel dates
- Form V39A or a Letter of Introduction, if sponsored by a local individual or a Singaporean company
Your passport stays with you. We need the original only at submission, for verification — it's handed straight back the same visit, never held for the duration of processing.

Salaried
- Last 3 months' pay slips
- Last 3 months' bank statements of your salary account
Self-employed
- Last 3 months' company bank statements
- GST certificate or company incorporation documents
- Income tax returns (ITRs)
Retired
Any of the following works as proof of income:
- Pension slips
- Last 3 months' personal bank statements
- Other proof of income
Unemployed
- Last 3 months' bank statements of your sponsor
- Sponsorship letter
Visiting family or friends?
- Invitation letter from your host in Singapore
- Host's passport copy
- Host's Employment Pass copy
- Host's utility bill or rental agreement
- If your host is sponsoring the trip: a sponsorship letter plus the host's last 3 months' bank statements
Optional & special cases
Optional, but they strengthen your file:
- Prior Singapore travel history
- Valid visas of other countries
Additional documents, where they apply to you:
- Name-change proof — deed poll, notarized affidavit or gazette copy
- Proof of residence, if your passport was not issued in South India

Visa in hand
Typically 5 working days after all documents are submitted, your approved visa is issued — with updates from us at every stage, and your passport with you the whole time.

Paying for your application
₹2,100 Singapore visa application fee plus ₹1,300 AVA service charge (service charge subject to GST). Pay whichever way is easiest — your application moves to submission once your documents and payment are in.
